Ford Didn’t Tell You This! Add Remote Start to Your 2025–2026 Maverick in Seconds

In this video, I show you how to add remote start to your 2025–2026 Ford Maverick using an OEM key fob — no dealer visit, no extra module, and no programming tool required. If your Maverick XLT or other trim has push-to-start but no remote start button, this simple method lets you program a new Ford key fob with remote start in minutes using two original keys. I also explain which 434 MHz fobs work, part number tips, and how to verify everything is programmed correctly.

✅ Works on 2025–2026 Ford Maverick

✅ OEM Ford key fob remote start

✅ No Forscan, no dealer, no locksmith (if you have 2 keys)

✅ Save hundreds vs dealer programming

Perfect for Maverick owners frustrated with FordPass glitches or missing remote start from the factory.

🔑 Watch to the end for the remote start test and key programming confirmation.

You will need a compatible 434mhz keyfob to do this. I used part number 164-R8412 FCC ID: M3N-A3C108397, which is for a Bronco so it had the wrong logo, but was cheaper. The actual part number for the OEM Ford Maverick remote is P/N 164-R8415, FCC ID M3N-A3C108397. You can also buy an aftermarket compatible remote on Amazon here (Paid Link) https://amzn.to/4scfUsm or here https://amzn.to/3MXiXok I do recommend the OEM Ford remote for reliability and ease of programming. They can be purchased on eBay here https://ebay.us/RllmqO I bought mine from eBay seller MidAtlanticLocksmith here https://ebay.us/pmD34H with the optional key cutting service here https://ebay.us/TPiFvt

As an eBay affiliate, I may earn a small commission if you purchase through my link, but your cost will be the same. Thanks for your support.
