In this video, I will show you how to upgrade your base LX or Sport model 7 inch Honda HR-V display screen to the EX-L model 9 inch system. This requires a fair amount of custom wiring. I will list the parts I used below.
The process is similar on Civics and CRV’s but the part numbers are specific to the vehicle model.

Guy , I almost saw the all installation you did … A nice but big project but congrats you nailed it … I would like to ask you if you have any information on the back doors speakers cables colors and the location of the harness on the back of the radio head unit … I want to top to those cables in order to get the audio signal to connect a kicker under the seat subwoofer of my 2024 CRV hybrid sport L . I got the equipment and it is really easy to get battery power and ground but I need audio signal and remote power ( 12 volts remote or accessory power)…. If you have any information I will really appreciate it .. Thanks fve454
